Terms
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms apply when you order a book from Hudhud at littlehudhud.com. Please read them before you pay. If anything is unclear, email hello@littlehudhud.com.
The book
- Each book is made for one child: we draw your child from your photo and place them, with their name and your dedication, in our illustrated story A Journey Through the Stories of the Prophets.
- It is a 250 × 200 mm landscape paperback with 31 illustrated pages.
- The illustration is an artist’s interpretation in the book’s style, not a photograph. The pictures on our website are examples.
- A real person checks every page before anything is printed.
Your photo and details
- You confirm you are the child’s parent or guardian, or have their permission, and that you have the right to use the photo.
- Please don’t upload anything unlawful, offensive or of someone you don’t have permission to use. We may refuse an order that doesn’t meet this.
- How we use and delete your photo and details is explained in our privacy policy.
Price and payment
- The price and delivery charge are shown before you pay, in pounds sterling, including any VAT.
- Payment is taken securely by Stripe when you order. Your contract with us starts when we email you to confirm the order.
Delivery
- We deliver to the countries shown at checkout, with tracked delivery.
- Express delivery, where offered, costs extra and means your book is printed first, ahead of the standard queue. Its arrival date is an estimate too.
- The delivery dates shown are our best estimate: illustrating and checking the book, then printing and posting it. They aren’t guaranteed, but we’ll keep you updated, and if your book hasn’t arrived within 30 days of ordering you may cancel for a full refund.
Changing your mind
Because every book is personalised to your child, the usual 14-day right to cancel doesn’t apply once we have started making it (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28(1)(b)). If you contact us before the book has been sent to print, we’ll do our best to cancel and refund you.
If something is wrong
If your book arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a mistake we made (for example a misspelt name you typed correctly), email us within 30 days with a photo and we’ll reprint it free or refund you. This doesn’t affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Our content
The story, illustrations, characters (including Hudhud) and designs belong to us. Your book is for your family’s personal use; please don’t copy it or sell it.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn’t allow it.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
